Corporate teams across the country are taking up the challenge…
What can be done to better clean up, fix up and conserve our environment now and for and future generations?
Hosted by professional facilitators, the Clean Up Australia Change Makers Challenge includes interactive fast-paced simulation exercises and thought-provoking discussions that promote teamwork, increased empathy and more open minds, providing an insider’s perspective of the sustainability challenges that Australia is facing. The results?
Our Earth has finite resources and our daily household waste is overwhelming our planet. Each year Australians produce 67 million tons of waste and currently only recycle 37%. Unless we change our behaviour in the way we produce, use and recycle material, our environment will continue to suffer and face catastrophic long-term implications.
In partnership with governments, schools, businesses and community groups, Clean Up Australia educates and informs Australians about our waste challenges and offers effective solutions to make a positive impact.
Australia’s waste challenges go far beyond one day and Clean Up Australia believe that it’s time for us all to embrace the issues and Step Up to make a difference.
“There is not one individual who cannot help make a difference to the health of the environment.”
Ian Kiernan AO, Founder, Clean Up Australia
“Clean Up Australia has always been more than just volunteers picking up rubbish. We invite you to join us and be part of the solution.”
Pip Kiernan, Chair, Clean Up Australia
“This is a great opportunity to come together and work side by side to do something positive for the environment. Corporate groups can play a critical role in making this possible.”
Terrie-Ann Johnson, CEO, Clean Up Australia
2 hours online or 3 hours face-to-face group sessions with interactive activities and team challenges.
Participants will have the opportunity to self-reflect, draw parallels to their team and work environments and consider how their own actions impact others. They will explore the different roles within a team and the importance that each team member has in reaching the end goal. They will be challenged to look at new ideas and how they can use those to improve the world around them.
You'll discover ways the charity empowers you and the community to take easy and meaningful steps to protect the environment, live differently and champion social change to make a real long-term difference to our country and planet.
You'll also get to know your colleagues and have fun whilst increasing your social impact!
In addition to the education and contribution to the charity via the team building exercises, we are proud to make a financial contribution too. The charity will receive 50% of the net profits from each session (a minimum of $500 plus GST).
If you're looking to expand your team’s perspective, challenge your own world view and learn more about this incredible home-grown charity, this is the team challenge for you. Your team will participate in an engaging session filled with fun activities and will leave with a fresh outlook on the issues our world faces.
