Become Tomorrow Builders

Corporate teams across the country are taking up the challenge…

What can be done to support those living without access to safe and decent housing?

Hosted by professional facilitators, the Habitat for Humanity Australia’s Tomorrow Builders Challenge includes interactive fast-paced simulation exercises and thought-provoking discussions that promotes teamwork, increased empathy and more open minds. The results?

  • Strengthened teams with greater appreciation of their colleagues.
  • Heightened awareness about the amazing work Habitat for Humanity staff do to deliver on their vision that everyone deserves a safe and decent place to live.
  • Increased social impact by supporting a charity that empowers people through shelter to live healthier, happier and more secure lives.

Since 1976, Habitat for Humanity has helped more than 29 million people across 70 countries gain access to safe and decent housing, water, sanitation, hygiene and livelihood training as a foundation for change and hope for the future. Through shelter they empower people to be healthier, happier and more secure and for children to be better nourished and educated.

Habitat for Humanity Australia works in partnership with families and communities to build or improve a place they can call home:

  • In Australia they help low income families achieve the dream of building and owning their own home and also help rebuild and restore hope for Aussie families in fire-affected communities through their bushfire recovery program.
  • In the Asia Pacific region they work in partnership with communities to address housing poverty and to support integrated community development through better water and sanitation, housing development and disaster risk and recovery.

  • They believe that building a decent home provides much more than bricks and mortar – it provides real hope for the future.

“This is important and life changing work which can only be done through the support of our partners in the corporate sector and through the professionalism and commitment of our people.”

Nicole Stanmore, CEO, Habitat for Humanity Australia

“At Habitat for Humanity we believe that a decent home is the foundation for the future, giving families to lead healthier, happier and more secure lives which leads to stronger communities that can grow and sustain themselves.”

Duncan West, Chair, Habitat for Humanity Australia

"The foundation for changing peoples’ lives resides through building strength, stability and self-reliance through shelter. This is why the support of corporate groups is so critical.”

Lara Warren, Head of Partnerships, Habitat for Humanity Australia
