I believe this was the best team building session I've attended. Being able to see what life is like for others less fortunate than us is always humbling and inspiring, and shows that the subconscious restrictions that we sometimes place on others are not the limitations they place on themselves, that there is ability in every disability.Even if it means the next time we pass by a person with a disability and say g'day with a smile, then this day has been a huge success in making a difference and building understanding and empathy of things we often cannot comprehend.Having seen it with my own eyes (one auntie and 3 of my cousins had Huntingdon's, one is still alive but unable to do anything for herself) it's not easy to comprehend how a person can go from absolutely normal and functioning 100%, to zero in less than 10 years, a prisoner trapped inside their own body, an existence, not a life worth living. it reminds us to always be thankful for your own good health and that of your families, as life is too short and anything can change in a split second.

We had the absolute pleasure of doing a Team Building with Purpose session with Richard Duncan for our end of financial year celebration here at KHI Partners, and it was such a fun, engaging, and meaningful experience. Through the session, we got to learn about the incredible work with CPL – Choice, Passion, Life and the challenges people with disabilities face in their daily lives. Richard shared powerful insights, helped us reflect deeply, and taught us some basic sign language — which was both eye-opening and really fun to learn as a team.The challenges and activities were great for team bonding and left us with a stronger sense of empathy, purpose, and appreciation for inclusivity.
