What’s the session’s main focus?
Brightening the lives of sick kids and using positive psychology to spread happiness.
How is it delivered?
1. Either in-person and hybrid over 3 hours – at your office, or any venue of your choosing such as a conference venue or a hotel.
2. Or online over 2 hours – whether people are spread geographically over the region, or simply working from home.
How will my team benefit?
Your colleagues will get a unique insight into this amazing charity and the opportunity to self-reflect and draw parallels from how Starlight operate with their own team and work environment by: discovering the power of positive psychology for a happier workplace; exploring your team’s ‘Superpowers’; creating ‘Sparkle’ packs for sick kids in hospital and using these insights to brainstorm practical ways to work better as a team.
How will STARLIGHT benefit?
As we’re in partnership with Starlight Children’s Foundation, they receive 50% of the net profit from every session, which translates to at least $500 plus GST for every session. So, your people are also making a financial difference to Starlight Children’s Foundation and supporting sick kids. In addition, the group will create ‘Sparkle’ packs for sick kids in hospital when in the session.

About Starlight Children’s Foundation
Serious childhood illness doesn’t just impact a child’s health. It can turn their whole life upside down, causing them to miss out on spending time with their family, building friendships, going to school and just living their life.
Australia has one of the best healthcare systems in the world, but sick children and young people need more than the exceptional care that our clinicians can offer. They need the social and emotional support that lets them be a child.
This is Starlight’s job. For over 30 years they have used play, social connection and creativity to support children and young people in some of their toughest times and to positively change their healthcare experience.
They work alongside clinicians, wherever they go, from by the bedside in a major paediatric hospital to mobile clinics visiting remote communities – working in partnership to deliver the best possible care for children and young people across the whole country, so that they can live their best lives.
