2. Or online over 2 hours – whether people are spread geographically over the region, or simply working from home.
How will my team benefit?
Your colleagues will get a unique insight into this amazing charity and the opportunity to self-reflect and draw parallels from how the Te-Kworo Foundation operate with their own team and work environments by: understanding the harsh realities facing young women and their children in Northern Uganda; appreciating the differences between their world and ours; seeing first-hand the transformational power that education and support can make in the lives of the young women they support and using these insights to brainstorm practical ways to work better as a team.
How will TE-KWORO FOUNDATION benefit?
As we’re in partnership with the Te-Kworo Foundation, they receive 50% of the net profit from every session, which translates to at least $500 plus GST for every session. So, your people are also making a financial difference to the Te-Kworo Foundation and helping secure a better future for African girls. In addition, your team will create special ‘Gift for Life’ packs which are given to the young women who are learning a trade to enable them to become self-sufficient.

About The Te-Kworo Foundation
The Te-Kworo Foundation was founded in 2022 to provide rehabilitation and education to war-affected women and children in Northern Uganda and was the first school in Uganda to offer secondary education to child-mothers, supporting these girls and their babies with childcare facilities and a flexible education program.
Today, the Te-Kworo Foundation operates three boarding schools in northern Uganda and to date, more than 4,000 girls have benefitted from academic studies and vocational training since the schools were founded, and numbers are still growing.
The Te-Kworo Foundation also operates a Medical and Maternal Health Clinic which serves a population of approximately 300,000 people and strive to give every woman and child the chance of a healthy life by supporting access to life-saving maternal health services and the opportunity for a safe birth for every pregnant woman.
