Corporate teams across the country are taking up the challenge…
What can be done to help people doing it tough in the community to live better lives?
Hosted by professional facilitators, the Drug ARM ‘Mindful Motivators’ Challenge includes interactive fast-paced simulation exercises and thought-provoking discussions that promote teamwork, increased empathy and more open minds. The results?
Since 1849, the charity has been dedicated to improving the lives of people impacted by mental health, alcohol and other drugs. Through awareness, rehabilitation and management they help people, families and communities impacted by mental health, alcohol and other drugs to achieve positive transformations.
Their team of caring and experienced specialists help build resilience by addressing all of the factors that contribute to and maintain alcohol and other drug issues. This includes support for mental health, family relationships, parenting, school engagement, access to reliable information, community involvement and social inclusion. They do this by:
“ We truly appreciate and value all the support we received, which enabled us to assist more than 6,000 people in need as well their families, last year.”
Jody Wright, Executive Director, Drug ARM
“Thank you so much for helping transform the lives of others. With your support we can empower others to live the sorts of lives we all deserve to.”
Dr Dennis Young AM, Chief Advocate and Company Secretary, Drug ARM
“The welfare of each and every person at work is so important to nurture and this program will offer you and your colleagues a unique opportunity to consider how you can better look after yourselves and others.”

10-30 people online
10-100 people face-to-face
2 hours online or 3 hours face-to-face group sessions with interactive activities and team challenges.
Participants will have the opportunity to self-reflect, draw parallels to their team and work environments and consider how their own actions impact others. They will gain an invaluable insight into the power of mindfulness and self-care strategies, exploring the different roles within a team and the importance that each team member has in reaching the end goal. They will be challenged to look at new ideas and how they can use those to improve the world around them.
You'll learn all about the ways the charity supports and empowers people, families and communities affected by mental health, alcohol and other drugs to transform their lives. The group will also take part in a team building activity to identify habits that could potentially put the team at risk and devise self-care strategies that will help protect each individual and enable the team to all live the best life they can, both at work and at home.
Plus, you’ll get to know your colleagues and have fun whilst increasing your social impact!
In addition to the education and contribution to the charity via the self-care team building exercise, we are proud to make a financial contribution too. The charity will receive 50% of the net profits from each session - a minimum of $500 plus GST
If you're looking to expand your team’s perspective, challenge your own world view and learn more about this incredible home-grown charity, this is the team challenge for you. Your team will participate in an engaging session filled with fun activities and will leave with a fresh outlook on the challenges facing members of our community.
